What is The Heart of The Pines?

The Heart of the Pines Quilt Guild is an affiliation of people interested in the craft of quilt making. Our Mission: Promoting fellowship and enhancing community through the quilting arts.

We meet at Alpine Lodge on the 1st Tuesday of each month at 5 p.m. for quilting with show and tell, and a business meeting at 7pm.
On the 3rd Tuesday we get together in the dining room of the Alpine Lodge to just quilt and visit from 1pm to about 8 pm.

Dues are collected annually (May 1 to May 1) to defray costs and support our bi-annual quilt show. We invite you to join us.

Quilters love to create something beautiful, warm, or practical. We explore fresh approaches in areas like color possibilities, piecing techniques, machine or hand quilting skills.

We love to share our awesome creations and help each other.

Group Guidelines

The general business of the guild is facilated through a Board of Directors consisting of:

Concerns/suggestions of a specific kind should at any time be directed to the appropriate committee chair who would then address the issue at the Executive Board interim business meeting. Action on the issue would appear either in the minutes of the interim meeting or presented for further discussion or vote at the general meeting.

It is hoped that this will streamline our business meeting so we have more time for quilting and fun things.
