What is The Heart of The Pines?
The Heart of the Pines Quilt Guild is a loose affiliation of people interested in the craft of quilt making. Our Mission: Promoting fellowship and enhancing community through the quilting arts.
We meet on the 1st Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. for quilting, show and tell, and a business meeting. On the 3rd Tuesday we get together and just quilt and talk from 1pm to about 7pm.
Dues are collected annually to defray costs and support our bi-annual quilt show. We currently meet at the Peace Lutheran Church on South Otsego in Gaylord, and we invite you to join us.
Quilters love to create something beautiful, warm, or practical. We explore fresh approaches in areas like color possibilities, piecing techniques, machine or hand quilting skills.
We love to share our awesome creations and help each other.
